Satellite-based irrigation and water-balance advisory for farm water management

Irriget provides farmers and advisors with satellite-informed irrigation guidance and water-balance estimates to optimise water use and improve crop performance. The service fuses optical and radar remote sensing with crop and hydrological models to estimate soil moisture, evapotranspiration and crop water demand across fields, producing irrigation schedules and maps. By combining satellite observations with agronomic rules, Irriget helps reduce water consumption and supports water accounting for farm and regional planning. The platform is powered primarily by ESA Copernicus data (Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2, Sentinel-3) and has been adopted by more than half of irrigated potato plantations in Poland, earning a Gold Medal at the POLAGRA International Fair 2023.
