Satellite-driven fertilizer application maps (includes radar module for all-weather mapping).

Fertisat is a precision agriculture service by Wasat Sp. z o.o. that generates variable-rate mineral fertiliser application maps to optimise N, P, K, Ca, and plant-protection inputs across cereal fields (wheat, barley, triticale, rye). The service combines Sentinel-2 multispectral imagery with a Sentinel-1 SAR radar module, enabling near-daily, cloud-independent monitoring of crop nitrogen status, soil moisture (NDWI), and field management zones. Agronomic models aligned with the EU Nitrates Directive convert satellite-derived indices into field-zone recommendations and exportable ISO-XML maps compatible with ISOBUS precision machinery. Field research shows up to 19.5% nitrogen savings (≈35 kg N/ha); commercial deployments across ~1,000 farms in northern Poland report 10–15% in-season fertiliser reductions. The service is delivered as a Progressive Web App (PWA) at fertisat.com, received an ESA Space Solutions demonstration and a REGIOSTARS Award, and is co-financed by EU Cohesion Policy.
