AI-powered landslide prediction and early-warning using multi-sensor satellite data

SOILRISK is a high-resolution landslide prediction service developed by Eyecon Group (Portugal) as an ESA Kick-start Activity. It fuses Sentinel-1 SAR data for terrain deformation and soil-moisture measurement with Sentinel-2 multispectral data for vegetation index, together with 20+ conditioning factors — including lithology, land cover, wind speed, precipitation and subsidence — into a proprietary machine-learning early-warning algorithm. The result is a 5 m spatial-resolution susceptibility forecast delivered through a 3D web-based GIS and a REST API. Users receive configurable area-of-interest alerts ahead of predicted events. Target customers include civil protection bodies, municipalities, and infrastructure managers responsible for highways, railroads, power stations and dams. Proven in the Azores region and available globally on a pay-per-use or subscription basis.
