Buying satellite imagery has traditionally meant negotiating quotes, long sales cycles and large minimum orders with individual operators. SkyFi Platform is a self-service marketplace that brings archive search, new satellite tasking, geospatial analytics and 3D products from more than 300 satellite and aerial sources into one ordering workflow, with the price shown before checkout and no contract.
Users define an area of interest and choose sensor, resolution, cloud-cover threshold and capture window; SkyFi routes tasking orders to a partner operator, monitors the collection and delivers the imagery. In-app providers include Vantor (WorldView), Planet (SkySat), ICEYE, Umbra, Satellogic, Pixxel, Vexcel, GEOSAT, IMPRO and SIIS, covering optical, SAR, multispectral, hyperspectral, thermal, stereo and aerial imagery. Free Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2 and Satellogic sample data sit alongside the commercial catalogue. The platform also runs 34 analytics products (for example NDVI, NDWI, change detection, classification and forest carbon), generates 3D surface and elevation models from Vantor 30 cm imagery, and offers merged satellite, terrestrial and shipborne AIS vessel data.
Access is through a web app, iOS and Android apps, a REST API with webhooks, delivery to AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage or Azure Blob, an Esri ArcGIS widget with WMTS and STAC streaming, an ATAK plugin and an MCP server for AI assistants. Archive orders are usually delivered within 24 hours. Published prices start at $5 for analytics and $15 for a single archive image. SkyFi reports more than 100,000 users and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance.
