GeoVille, an Earth observation company based in Innsbruck, Austria, offers a single point of access to imagery from hundreds of commercial and non-commercial Earth observation satellites. Customers can commission new satellite tasking or buy archive imagery, with spatial resolutions starting at 15 cm.
The portfolio covers optical imagery from 0.15 m to 3 m (Airbus Pléiades Neo, Pléiades and SPOT, Maxar WorldView, Planet SkySat and PlanetScope, and sensors such as GeoEye, Kompsat, SuperView and Satellogic Aleph-1; the 0.15 m High Definition tier uses intelligently increased pixel resolution), synthetic aperture radar from 0.25 m to 500 m that works day and night in all weather (Capella Space, TerraSAR-X, Umbra), nighttime imagery at 0.5 to 0.9 m (WorldView-2, Jilin-1) for population, light-pollution and illegal-fishing analysis, hyperspectral imagery at 5 to 25 m (Pixxel, Kuva Space Hyperfield-1, Satellogic Aleph-1) and greenhouse-gas data at 25 to 50 m from the GHGSat constellation for locating emission point sources. Daily updated data streams from the Copernicus Sentinel missions are also offered, alongside ancillary reference data such as topography, transport networks, points of interest and ground control points.
Additional services include API archive access with flexible delivery and download formats, customised tasking by area of interest and monitoring frequency, a 24/7 emergency service, near-daily high-resolution monitoring, Tip & Cue acquisitions (large-area pre-event and very-high-resolution post-event images) and near-real-time change detection. GeoVille's factsheet also lists a rapid processing option within 24 hours. In 2006 GeoVille was appointed distribution partner for TerraSAR-X data in Austria.
