Satellite Imagery and Tasking Services is the satellite imagery offering of Space Imaging Middle East (SIME), a Dubai company founded in 1997. SIME is a partner in the WorldView Global Alliance with Vantor (previously Maxar Technologies) and European Space Imaging, which provides commercial high-resolution imagery products and services for Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
Buyers can search an archive that SIME describes as holding imagery from GeoEye-1, WorldView-1, WorldView-2 and WorldView-3, or commission a new collection when existing imagery cannot meet a requirement. Four tasking options are offered: Select (the customer sets the collection window or accepts a suggested one), Select Plus (shorter windows in areas of high competition), Assured (guaranteed delivery from dedicated satellite capacity; if the full area is not collected, archive imagery is supplied free of charge) and Single Shot (collection on or near a specific date, as little as six hours after order confirmation). Dedicated experts help customers choose feasible collection windows, and SIME also runs tasking subscriptions for large-scale project monitoring.
Product levels include 15 cm HD imagery (resolution-enhanced from native 30 cm imagery), Basic, Standard and Stereo imagery, Advanced Ortho imagery, the Advanced Elevation Series and the WorldView Elevation Suite, which bundles a digital elevation model from a WorldView-1 or WorldView-2 stereo pair with ortho-imagery and contours. Standard Imagery offers 46–65 cm panchromatic and 1.8–2.62 m multispectral data, with minimum orders of 25 km² from the archive and 100 km² for tasking. SIME states access to imagery of up to 30 cm resolution with direct tasking and downlink.
