Modular SAR data processing software for interferometry, polarimetry and time-series analysis within the ENVI environment

SARscape is a comprehensive, modular SAR data processing platform developed by sarmap and distributed by NV5 Geospatial as ENVI SARscape. Running within the ENVI image-processing environment, it offers over 200 tools covering the full SAR processing chain: radiometric calibration, multi-looking, co-registration, speckle filtering (including the De Grandi Spatio-Temporal filter), geocoding and mosaicing. Its interferometry module produces Digital Elevation Models, coherence maps and land-displacement maps, while the Interferometric Stacking module supports SBAS, PS, E-SBAS, E-PS and Continuous Tomography techniques for deformation time-series analysis. PolSAR, PolInSAR and stereo-radargrammetry workflows are also included. A Cluster Configuration option enables distributed processing for large-area stacking pipelines. Version 6.3.0 (May 2026) adds support for next-generation SAR missions including NISAR, BIOMASS and PALSAR-3, as well as Inverse SAR Refocusing and oil-spill detection. SARscape is designed for technically proficient users and is the commercial benchmark against which open-source tools such as SNAP and DORIS are routinely evaluated.
