Sensing Atmospheric Intelligence, the Toulouse company that builds and operates the GESat methane satellite, also sells imagery from partner Earth-observation constellations. Under distribution agreements with SAR and very-high-resolution (VHR) optical satellite operators, it offers this data through PLUM, its digital marketplace for viewing and buying satellite data.
The SAR offer covers four X-band radar satellites with resolution up to 50 cm, Spot scenes of 5 × 5 km and Scan scenes of 10 × 10 km. Radar collects images day and night and through cloud, smog, volcanic ash and sandstorms. The VHR optical offer covers twelve satellites with resolution up to 25 cm, 60 × 90 km scenes and high-precision geolocation. Both are sold as new tasking, priced on request, or from the archive at €30/km² for SAR and €20/km² for optical.
Sensing positions the data for energy infrastructure (pipeline deformation, oil storage tanks, offshore platforms), maritime surveillance (illegal fishing, oil spills, harbour congestion), disaster damage assessment and flood mapping, commodity-trading intelligence such as vehicle counts, storage levels and crop health, and insurance underwriting and claims validation. Sensing does not name the partner operators on its product page.

Sensing Atmospheric Intelligence
Sensing Atmospheric Intelligence (formerly Absolut Sensing) is a Toulouse-based company that designs, builds and operates satellite remote-sensing systems, starting with its GESat GEN1 methane satellite launched in 2025. It sells methane concentration maps and facility-level emission rates for industrial sites, and distributes SAR and very-high-resolution optical satellite data from partner constellations through its PLUM platform. GESat is a Copernicus Contributing Mission, and a second-generation hyperspectral satellite is planned for late 2027 to early 2028.
