RoboDot Touch is a compact multi-band RTK GNSS receiver from Robota (Dallas, Texas) for drone mapping crews, surveyors and GIS teams who need centimetre positions at a lower cost than traditional survey kits. One unit works as an RTK base station, rover, static logger or correction repeater, set from its touch screen or a browser with no app to install.
It tracks GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou on the signals Robota lists (L1C/A, L2C, L1OF, L2OF, E1B/C, E5b, B1I) with a u-blox multi-band receiver: the ZED-F9P, or the ZED-X20P in new production units. As a base it serves RTCM3 corrections from a built-in NTRIP caster over Wi-Fi, over UDP, or over an optional 915 MHz LoRa radio (about 1 km line of sight), for example to DJI drone controllers, reducing the need for ground control points. As a rover it takes NTRIP/VRS or RoboDot corrections and streams NMEA positions over Bluetooth LE, TCP or USB to apps such as QGIS, QField, Survey123 and SW Maps. Robota quotes typical RTK accuracy of 1-2 cm. Raw observations are logged to 8 GB of storage for conversion to RINEX and post-processing with OPUS, PPP services or the included RoboDot Windows utility (PPK), and points export as CSV, GeoJSON or DXF.
A documented local HTTP + JSON API lets users script the receiver or drive it from an AI agent. The unit is IP55-rated, weighs 340 g, runs 10+ hours on battery and fits a 1/4-20 mount. It costs US$1,675 without the radio and US$1,875 with it (a 10-unit education pack is US$9,999), carries a 12-month warranty, and optional Wingman maintenance (US$127 per device per year) adds firmware updates and priority support.
