Restor Insights is the paid service layer of Restor, the Swiss non-profit's global platform for mapping nature restoration and conservation sites. It is built for organisations that manage several sites and must report to funders, stakeholders or regulators: NGOs and grassroots implementers, facilitators and networks overseeing project portfolios, businesses supporting many local partners, and governments tracking conservation and restoration commitments.
Users group sites into portfolios and customisable dashboards that aggregate Restor's global ecological datasets with their own uploaded field and socio-economic data, set targets, track progress and share profiles through protected links or embeds on their own websites. Advanced monitoring adds the SEED Index (beta), which compares a site's ecological condition with its undisturbed natural state, and Disturbance Alerts (beta), built on the NASA OPERA DIST-ALERT product from Harmonized Landsat and Sentinel-2 imagery. Each satellite pass is compared with a site-specific three-year baseline, and changes such as clearing, fire or drought are reported at 30 m resolution with severity tiers and before-and-after imagery.
Insights is sold as annual plans priced in Swiss francs (Basic from CHF 1,400 a year, Advanced, and Enterprise), with a 30% discount for registered non-profits and add-ons for extra hectares, portfolios and annual satellite imagery; higher tiers add an annual PDF report, onboarding, a dedicated engagement manager and API access for site upload. The underlying map and ecological datasets remain free to use. The product page quotes Just One Tree on sharing Insights portfolios with corporate partners.
