PSTool is TERRASIGNA's satellite deformation monitoring service for owners and operators of dams, railways, roads, bridges, utilities, underground networks and mining sites. Ground instrumentation and levelling only show movement where sensors already exist, so deformation elsewhere on an asset or its surrounding slopes can go unnoticed until it is costly to investigate.
The service processes ESA Sentinel-1 radar imagery with Persistent Scatterer Interferometry (PSI/InSAR) to measure ground and structure displacement with accuracy of up to millimetres. TERRASIGNA configures the monitoring scope around a site, corridor or portfolio, builds a historical motion baseline from past satellite observations and reviews updated observations for change. In the PSTool web platform, users inspect displacement time series, run transects along linear assets, filter points by velocity, height and uncertainty, overlay their own layers and export results (for example CSV or KML) for GIS, engineering and reporting work. Offers range from a one-off historical baseline audit, through continuous monitoring with threshold-based alerts, to an enterprise tier with integration into internal dashboards, optional higher-resolution commercial data and dedicated expert support.
In 2014 TERRASIGNA became the first East-European PSI service provider validated within ESA's Terrafirma project, with the German Aerospace Center (DLR). Its national ground motion map of Romania (2015-2020) processed more than 1,500 Sentinel-1 datasets and measured around 21 million targets over about 200,000 km². Earlier work includes stability monitoring at the Cernavoda nuclear power plant, landslide mapping around the Siriu dam and a PSI risk assessment of the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest.

TERRASIGNA
TERRASIGNA is a Romanian company in the business of Earth Observation data processing: it selects, analyses and processes satellite data with in-house algorithms and turns it into information for public and private organisations. Its monitoring services are mainly based on satellite radar interferometry (InSAR/PSI) and cover natural-hazard risk assessment, infrastructure stability, environmental monitoring of areas affected by human activities, coastal and marine monitoring and precision agriculture. It also develops Earth Observation educational software for high schools and universities.
