Organisations that manage territory, such as emergency services, agricultural administrations and urban planners, need current, area-wide information on what is on the ground and how it is changing, whether after a disaster or across a farming season. GEOAP, a SpaceTech start-up based at Technopark Rabat in Morocco, offers satellite-based object detection and change monitoring as an analysis service.
GEOAP's service page lists eight analyses. After a natural disaster it uses satellite imagery to identify damaged infrastructure, blocked roads and high-risk zones for emergency response and reconstruction planning. It maps flooded areas, which it says works even under cloud cover. It alerts customers to forest fire outbreaks, follows their progression and maps burned areas. A deep-learning tool detects and counts individual palm trees in high-resolution satellite or aerial imagery, for monitoring agricultural assets, estimating biomass and supporting precision farming. Further analyses delineate agricultural plots and crops for monitoring seasons, subsidies and resource planning; segment land use and land cover for urban planning, environmental management and land development; identify natural carbon sinks for CSR and carbon-offset projects; and produce concentration maps of major air pollutants from space-based observation.
The service is engaged by booking a consultation with a GEOAP expert.

GEOAP
GEOAP is a Rabat-based SpaceTech startup that develops and integrates geospatial solutions using satellite remote sensing and artificial intelligence, with a focus on water and climate change. It sources and enhances satellite imagery (super-resolution, cloud removal), delivers satellite-based object detection and change monitoring for disasters, agriculture and land use, integrates GIS platforms such as ArcGIS, and runs geospatial training through GEOAP Academy. It is developing Aquatrends, a platform for detecting, monitoring and forecasting hydroclimatic trends.
