MyDataTrek is a farm management system for farms, presented on a joint website by MyDataPlant GmbH (Lüdinghausen) and EXA Computing GmbH (exatrek, Hamm). It addresses the documentation workload of farming: fertiliser records (total N versus NH4-N, Annex 5, the 170 kg N limit) and plant protection records under EU Regulation 2023/564, for which the system looks up EPPO codes, BBCH stages, FLIK numbers and approval numbers.
Field work is recorded automatically. Manufacturer-independent exatrek telemetry modules fit the machines by plug and play, and small magnetic Bluetooth beacons identify the implement in use, so planned measures are recognised when carried out and set to done, avoiding duplicate entries. Farmers plan measures in a weekly view based on weather and resources, follow the fleet live on a PC, and manage crop rotation, inputs, stock levels and nutrient balances. Beyond field records, the provider lists sending jobs directly to machines, including business analyses and integrating livestock husbandry.
Application maps are built in. They are based on MyDataPlant Vegetation Index (MVI) biomass maps, which MyDataPlant derives from satellite images of each field, with an overpass every five days and up to seven years of history; MyDataPlant states it uses Copernicus Sentinel-2 data to make vegetation change visible. Users can add their own layers such as yield maps, machine feedback data and soil sample results, and total quantities are calculated for each map. Maps export in 38 terminal formats, wirelessly through exatrek T3 telemetry modules, or to the Operations Center. Test access is available on request.
