Leica Infinity is Leica Geosystems' office software for surveying and measurement professionals. Survey teams collect data with several kinds of instrument (GNSS receivers, total stations, digital levels, laser scanners and imaging UAVs), and Infinity brings that data into one project where it can be checked, processed, adjusted and turned into deliverables, with reports at each step for traceability.
For satellite positioning, Infinity post-processes survey GNSS observations. Its data sheet lists multi-constellation processing of GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and QZSS data, single-frequency (L1) and multifrequency (L1, L2, L5) processing, and static and kinematic processing, run step by step or automatically; these functions belong to the Survey and Advanced Survey options. The software imports RINEX data, has a satellite availability tool for planning, downloads precise ephemerides and reference station data, and connects directly to the HxGN SmartNet correction service to fetch GNSS reference data for post-processing. GNSS, total station and level observations can be combined in 1D, 2D and 3D least-squares network adjustments.
Beyond GNSS, Infinity registers laser scans, creates point clouds, orthophotos and digital surface models from images, computes surfaces, volumes and comparison maps, supports road and tunnel work, and produces CAD drawings. It exports to CAD, GIS and BIM formats and connects to services including Esri ArcGIS Online, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bentley ProjectWise and Procore.
Infinity is a modular Windows desktop application, sold as a subscription or a perpetual licence, with a 30-day free trial. The German construction company Stricker uses it to process monthly UAV survey flights into point clouds with an accuracy of 2 to 5 centimetres.
