Imagery Sphere

Imagery Sphere is GeoWGS84's self-serve online data store for buyers who need geospatial imagery and elevation data for a specific area but would otherwise have to compare the archives of many satellite and aerial suppliers one by one. On an interactive map, the user picks a data type (satellite, aerial, LiDAR, DEM or 3D models, or a search for a drone company or pilot), defines an area of interest by drawing it, uploading a KML file or entering coordinates, and filters scenes by resolution (better than 0.3, 0.5 or 0.8 m), satellite, date range and cloud cover. Scenes go into a cart, where the buyer chooses projection (Lat/Lng, UTM, State Plane), datum (WGS84, NAD83, NAD27) and format (GeoTIFF or JPEG2000), then submits the request; an AOI data availability report is emailed afterwards.

The satellite catalogue covers Maxar's WorldView-1 to -4, WorldView Legion, GeoEye-1, QuickBird and IKONOS, KOMPSAT-2, -3 and -3A, 21AT archive (30, 50 and 80 cm) and tasking, Satellogic, and EOS SAT-1 1.5 m archive and tasking; the store also loads further satellites from the TerraVista partner catalogue, including SuperView, Jilin-1, Beijing-2 and Beijing-3A and the OSE hyperspectral satellites. GeoWGS84 names Maxar, Satellogic, SI Imaging Services (KOMPSAT) and Hexagon's HxGN Content Program, whose 4-band orthorectified aerial imagery covers the United States, Europe and Canada, among its imagery partners.

Published archive prices start at $450 for satellite imagery, $99 for aerial imagery, $150 for LiDAR and $100 for DEM/DTM/DSM; custom tasking is quoted on request. Satellite archive and tasking are offered worldwide.
