Hyperplan is a parcel-level crop intelligence platform that shows agribusiness teams what is planted, how it is developing and how much will be harvested, before official statistics are published. Its models build field boundaries from multi-temporal Sentinel-2 imagery trained on official LPIS parcel data, classify crops field by field from Sentinel-2 time series with per-country models, and estimate yields at NUTS 3 regional level for five crops by combining vegetation indices with weather and soil variables. An NDVI-SAR model reconstructs the vegetation index from Sentinel-1 radar so monitoring continues under cloud; in Bavaria in 2025 it detected the maize silage harvest about a week ahead of optical data.
Outputs, including crop maps, volume forecasts and disease-risk maps, are updated weekly and delivered through a web platform, a secure API and exports, with Salesforce integration and use alongside GIS systems such as ESRI. Input manufacturers use it for market sizing and territory planning, traders for production risk and cooperatives for collection forecasting; it is also offered to crop insurers and public institutions. Monitoring is active in 27 countries across Europe, Canada and South Africa.
Hyperplan reports 59 client organisations, 250 million+ hectares monitored and 500+ weekly users. Published results include +10% market coverage and +5% market share for Corteva France; take-all risk maps that supported Certis Belchim's Toltek seed treatment launch, which met its targets, with use now in 17 countries; and about 1 euro per tonne from better-timed grain sales at the French cooperative group Ceremis. Its published yield errors are roughly 6 to 9% against official NUTS 3 yields for the best-modelled 80% of crop area.
