HIVE is a cloud service from Industrial Geodetic Systems R&D (Omsk, Russia) that joins GNSS continuously operating reference stations run by many different owners into one network with a single interface. It addresses a problem the provider describes for Russian surveyors: reference stations are scattered and accessed separately, which makes RTK and post-processing data inconvenient and costly to obtain.
The stations stream their GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou observations to HIVE. On an interactive map, users check each station's coverage radius, data availability, latency, and receiver and antenna details. They then either connect a rover to the station's NTRIP mountpoint for real-time RTK corrections (RTCM 2.3 and RTCM 3.x, including multi-GNSS RTCM 3.2) or order RINEX 2.11 or 3.02 observation files, which are generated and emailed automatically. HIVE creates each user's NTRIP account automatically and charges RTK per day and RINEX per hour, paid from the user's HIVE account balance (an optional 1,000-rouble overdraft lets it go negative) or, for RINEX, online by card, ЮMoney or Qiwi. It also emails users when a station goes offline or comes back online. Company plans add a shared balance, bank-transfer invoicing, custom station coordinates in the correction stream and paid rover monitoring.
HIVE is also a marketplace for station owners. They get free software for raw-data storage, an NTRIP caster and station status, and receive 50% of the revenue from sales of their stations' data. The service covers about 60 Russian regions, with prices in roubles; in October 2026 the homepage listed 386 stations, 78,198 hours of RTK use and 20,015 RINEX orders processed. Large operators can install HIVE on their own servers. The provider says HIVE won the Enterprise Ireland Competitive Start Fund evaluation final in autumn 2016 and was named one of the '25 most promising technology projects in Russia' at the IV Russian Tech Tour in spring 2017.

Industrial Geodetic Systems R&D
Industrial Geodetic Systems R&D is an Omsk-based design bureau that develops software and hardware for applied and infrastructure tasks using GNSS technology, geotechnical sensors and alternative energy sources. Its products include GNSS sensors for deformation monitoring and precise positioning on oil and gas facilities, a continuously operating GNSS reference station, magnetic flaw-detection equipment for pipelines and an Android RTK field app, and it offers custom software and hardware development. It also runs HIVE, a platform giving access to RTK corrections and RINEX data from GNSS reference stations across Russia.
