Geoimage, an Australian satellite imagery specialist operating since 1988, supplies commercial high-resolution satellite imagery as an alternative to aerial or ground capture over large, remote or inaccessible areas, with no field mobilisation needed. As a licensed reseller for operators including Airbus, Vantor (formerly Maxar), SI Imaging Services, 21AT, Axelspace, Synspective, Pixxel and Wyvern, it sources imagery from sensors such as Pléiades Neo, SPOT 6/7, WorldView-3, WorldView Legion, KOMPSAT-3/3A and SpaceEye-T. In March 2026 Geoimage announced it was the first authorised user of SpaceEye-T imagery and tasking services globally, giving access to 25 cm native panchromatic imagery.
Buyers can order archive imagery or task a satellite for a fresh capture over their area of interest almost anywhere in the world. Options include 8- and 16-band multispectral optical imagery, radar (SAR) sensors and hyperspectral sensors, and Geoimage advises on which sensor, resolution and processing level suits a project. Imagery is delivered as raw data or processed with orthorectification and pan-sharpening; standard delivery is up to 10 working days after successful capture, or up to 5 working days for raw data. Imagery can also be streamed into GIS software from Geoimage's Queensland-hosted WMS/WMTS services, or accessed through the Airbus OneAtlas and The Vantor Hub subscription platforms that Geoimage resells.
Published projects include tasked WorldView-3 imagery for the Australian Antarctic Division (elephant seal colonies) and for an albatross count supported by Humane Society International, and SPOT 6/7 state-wide imagery mosaics for the NSW Government. Pricing is by quote; a Premium Service Bundle offers annual commitment tiers with discounts and priority tasking.
