Geostack

Geostack is Arlula's modular Earth observation (EO) data infrastructure for organisations that use satellite imagery in day-to-day operations. Defence, government and enterprise teams often hold agreements with several commercial operators and national systems, yet order and receive imagery through separate portals, email and manual coordination; Arlula cites an average of seven days per order without automation.

Geostack replaces this with six modules on a shared, API-first layer, each usable alone. The Fulfilment Engine routes archive and tasking orders to approved providers and delivers imagery into cloud or on-premises environments. The Sales Engine is a white-label storefront that satellite operators use to price, sell and deliver their own imagery. Constellation Orchestration builds capture schedules against orbital and sensor constraints; the Data Normalisation Pipeline converts multi-sensor imagery into STAC catalogues and Cloud Optimised GeoTIFFs; Automation Workflows runs processing pipelines; and Advanced Data Management governs access, licensing and audit. Tasking can be triggered automatically from ground sensors or alerts.

Arlula has announced integrations of Maxar, BlackSky, Axelspace, Wyvern and GEOSAT imagery, and Spiral Blue uses the Sales Engine to distribute Landsat and Sentinel-2 data. Geostack runs on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or on premises, and Arlula states it is built on ISO 27001 infrastructure with TLS 1.3 encryption in transit and AES-256 at rest. It was the first third-party application on Saber Astronautics' Space Application Marketplace for the US Space Force and underpins a 2024 partnership with NTT DATA for Japanese Government tasking. Arlula reports more than 200 million km² of imagery delivered and over 150 spatial data formats supported.
