Organisations that work in GIS and CAD depend on high-quality, well-organised spatial data to work efficiently and make sound decisions. Geospatial Data is KPGeo's photogrammetric data-production service: its team in Kraków, Poland extracts 2D and 3D geospatial data from satellite, aerial or UAV imagery and delivers it ready for GIS and CAD systems.
The offer covers 3D vector data, digital terrain and surface models (DTM/DSM), land cover and land use (LULC) maps, aviation databases (AMDB, eTOD) and military MGCP databases. Production runs on multi-user Esri ArcSDE workflows, with 3D extraction synchronised to GIS software and specialised software for 3D analysis, automatic data extraction and classification. KPGeo's quality management system is ISO 9001:2015 and AQAP 2110:2016 certified.
In a published case study, KPGeo worked as DigitalGlobe's subcontractor on LULC maps of the Philippines derived from high-resolution satellite imagery. It built the production workflow, classified the multiband imagery, vectorised the results and delivered GeoTIFF rasters and Esri shapefiles against a 90-95% per-class accuracy requirement checked with a confusion matrix. For Eskilstuna municipality in Sweden, as a subcontractor to Terratec, it updated a 20,000-hectare base-map geodatabase with more than 200,000 objects, working directly in the client's Esri database.
The same team offers GIS services: GIS development and implementation, consulting and training, software development and geoportal-based WebGIS solutions.
