GeoNadir is a cloud-native platform for environmental teams that need to see how sites and ecosystems change over time, built and supported by remote sensing and environmental scientists; the company was founded in Australia. Users drag and drop geotagged RGB, thermal or multispectral drone images, and the platform processes them into orthomosaics, digital surface models and digital terrain models held in a searchable library on AWS.
Inside a project, users can stream Copernicus Sentinel-2 imagery (10–60 m, filterable by date and cloud cover) alongside their drone maps, import vectors and compare dates to track change. Analysis tools include spectral indices such as NDVI, NDMI and NBR on drone or Sentinel-2 data, random-forest and object-based classification, change detection, volumes, heights, terrain profiles and slope.
For mine rehabilitation, a vegetation trajectory report uses Sentinel-2 NDVI and NDMI time series to rate each zone as on track, at risk or declining against targets or analogue sites, and GeoNadir offers compliance reporting starting with a 12-week pilot. Orthomosaics can be streamed into ArcGIS or QGIS through TMS links or downloaded as GeoTIFF; vectors export as GeoJSON, KML, GPX or shapefile.
A free Essentials plan includes Sentinel-2 data; Professional costs US$84 per month, and Pro+ and enterprise plans are quoted. Named users include Neilly Group, Reef Catchments and the Terrestrial Ecosystem Research Network (TERN).
