GeoImpact is an AI-powered, multi-INT intelligence platform from ImageSat International (ISI) that turns space and cross-domain data into decision support for defence organisations. It is designed to help defence organisations anticipate threats and maintain persistent awareness.
ISI describes GeoImpact as a cloud-based platform for analysing space intelligence products and data with AI-based analytical capabilities, and as a secure geospatial analytics environment that brings satellite imagery, AI-driven analysis, layered data and operational dashboards into one system. It fuses electro-optical (EO) and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery with AIS vessel data, radio-frequency (RF) data and open-source intelligence (OSINT). Its stated functions are analyst-ready insights, automated anomaly and pattern detection, and persistent global monitoring. Screenshots ISI has published show the platform detecting, classifying and counting aircraft at an airfield on EROS-C3 imagery, with an analyst approving each detection.
ISI operates its own very-high-resolution Earth observation satellites. GeoImpact is sold as an intelligence-as-a-service offering. In September 2024 ISI announced a three-year, USD 54.5 million contract with an international defence customer for space-based intelligence analytics services delivered through GeoImpact; ISI's EROS NG and GlobalEye (Runner and Knight) constellations serve as part of the data sources for that programme.
