Forest Monitoring is Rezatec's geospatial analytics service for forest growers, timber purchasers and investors who must respond to wildfire, storms, pests and disease across large estates where field crews and aerial surveys cover only a fraction of the area.
The service uses multispectral satellite data to compute spectral indices of forested and vegetated land, and draws on archived imagery to separate trends and seasonal patterns from significant negative changes in canopy cover. Rezatec states that satellite data is refreshed every 5 to 12 days; disturbance and mill-optimisation insights are delivered quarterly, and reforestation competition layers are updated annually or twice a year (before and after brushing). Modules cover fire severity (canopy and understorey damage after a wildfire, to prioritise salvage), disturbance (storm, pest and disease damage, combining satellite and ground-based data), reforestation (softwood, deciduous and total vegetation cover at 10 m resolution, with establishment-progress and competition-intensity scores to target brushing and herbicide treatment), mill optimisation (species distribution, expected volume and haulage routes from satellite, environmental and customer plot data) and EUDR due diligence (deforestation monitoring and compliance reporting).
Results are delivered in the web-based Rezatec Geospatial Platform (ForestSAT dashboard), with maps, time-series charts, filterable stand tables and seismic, weather and wildfire alerts, or as GIS-ready shapefiles and GeoTIFFs for existing forest-management GIS. Named users include New Forests, Forsite Consultants and the National Trust. Rezatec reports that one customer cut its net herbicide treatment area by around 15% on a 40,000-hectare establishment programme, and cites more than $1 million in customer savings (per JDI).

Rezatec
Rezatec builds geospatial analytics for organisations that manage and monitor dams, water pipelines, forests and other large assets. Its web-based platform combines satellite radar (InSAR) and multispectral imagery with environmental data, customers' own asset data and machine learning to detect change, predict failure risk and prioritise inspections and maintenance. Its solutions cover dam monitoring, downstream hazard screening, water pipeline risk, forest monitoring and oil and gas infrastructure monitoring.
