Open-source EO infrastructure: index, search & stream cloud-optimised satellite archives via OGC-compliant REST APIs

eoAPI is an open-source framework by Development Seed for deploying a complete Earth Observation data infrastructure. It bundles pgSTAC, stac-fastapi, TiTiler-pgSTAC and tipg to provide STAC-compliant metadata search, dynamic raster tile visualisation, and OGC vector tile endpoints over a PostgreSQL backend. Cloud-agnostic and MIT-licensed, it can be deployed on AWS, GCP or on-premise via Docker Compose, Kubernetes Helm charts or AWS CDK — often in just a few commands. It powers production platforms including NASA's VEDA, the US Greenhouse Gas Center, and the Microsoft Planetary Computer, scaling to hundreds of millions of STAC items.
