EMDYN Analytical Services are bespoke intelligence products produced by EMDYN's own analysts on the EMDYN geospatial intelligence fusion platform, for governments, NGOs and industry clients that need finished intelligence for immediate dissemination or to support their own investigations. Reports are offered in tiers: initial discovery with a rapid turnaround, more granular in-depth analysis, and ongoing monitoring of identified activities, assets or locations. They can be bought stand-alone as individual intelligence reports, or combined with platform access as part of onboarding, where EMDYN says they support training and an initial operational capability.
The analysis fuses commercial satellite imagery with other location intelligence such as signals intelligence, open-source information and geolocated device data. EMDYN's platform integrates BlackSky Gen-2 imagery with on-demand tasking (contract announced February 2025), Planet's near-daily imagery and taskable SkySat satellites (April 2025), and Pléiades and SPOT archive imagery from the Airbus Living Library.
Applications EMDYN names include patterns of life at security facilities, monitoring the development of new capabilities, mobility and migration trends in low-access territories, pandemic risk assessments, cross-border smuggling routes, border-security vulnerabilities, illegal mining, maritime security including risk assessments and threat reports on specific shipping routes, and due-diligence monitoring of critical assets for investment and insurance. EMDYN provided geospatial intelligence support, in collaboration with BlackSky, to a Handelsblatt investigation into Moldova, and worked with the Satellite Applications Catapult on a Chatham House report on the Niger–Libya migration route. EMDYN was founded in 2008 and has offices in Switzerland and Belgium.
