AI-powered geospatial platform turning satellite imagery into actionable urban climate and resilience insights.
EarthDataInsights (EDI) is Latitudo 40's all-in-one subscription geospatial platform that converts multi-temporal satellite imagery — sourced from Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2, Planet, DEM and ERA5 — into over 13 ready-to-use environmental monitoring layers. These include Land Surface Temperature (10 m resolution, 4× daily), Surface Urban Heat Island, Flooding Risk, Tree Cover Density, Carbon Storage, Building Height, and more. Cities, territories, real estate funds, insurers, and environmental consultants access historical and current data through an intuitive web map, automated reports, or API — with no GIS expertise or downloads required. An integrated conversational AI layer (LatInsight) lets users pose natural-language questions that are automatically translated into multi-layer analyses. Subscriptions start with a single layer and scale progressively; custom layers can be uploaded. The platform also powers scenario simulation, allowing planners to model and compare the impact of climate adaptation and mitigation actions before implementation.
