The Earth Observation DataHub (EODH) is a UK national platform that gives government, industry and academic users a single point of access to Earth observation and climate data, together with the infrastructure to process it, so they need not work across several separate platforms. It is led by the National Centre for Earth Observation on behalf of the UK Space Agency, with a consortium that includes CEDA, the University of Leicester, Satellite Applications Catapult, the Met Office and NPL.
A federated STAC resource catalogue covers open datasets, including UK Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 analysis-ready data, Sentinel-2 Level-2A, EOCIS climate products such as land surface temperature from Sentinel-3 and Landsat 8/9, ESA CCI land cover and CMIP6 climate projections. It also lists commercial collections from Airbus (Pléiades, Pléiades Neo, SPOT, TerraSAR-X/TanDEM-X), Planet (PlanetScope, SkySat) and Open Cosmos. Workspace holders can request quotes for commercial imagery and buy it through the platform by linking their own provider accounts.
Users can visualise data in the browser, analyse it in hosted Jupyter notebooks with cloud object storage, run CWL-based workflows, or build no-code workflows in the EOPro application. The Hub can also be reached through the pyeodh Python client, documented APIs, and plugins for QGIS and ArcGIS Pro. All users are offered £1,000 of processing and storage credit. Published case studies include work by the British Geological Survey, Historic England, NatureScot, and GMV for Network Rail.
