Dronelocus® is GMV's suite of U-space services for unmanned aircraft operations, developed in response to the growing number of civil drone flights expected to share low-level airspace (below 150 m above ground). It comprises three services. The tracking service collects positioning data from several sources (4G/5G network positioning, ADS-B and drone telemetry), merges them with a track-fusion algorithm, receives ADS-B data from manned aircraft, checks authorised flight plans and logs tracks to produce trajectory reports and follow-up reports for incident or accident investigation. The emergency management service keeps a database of alerts raised during drone operations, defines dynamic emergency and security geofences, and notifies affected drone operators and authorities such as law enforcement, emergency services and municipalities, including through Smart City applications. The navigation and surveillance availability prediction service, based on GMV's GNASSURE® product, predicts the integrity and accuracy of global navigation satellite system (GNSS) positioning with the receiver autonomous integrity monitoring (RAIM) algorithm defined in ETSO-C199, adapted to urban scenarios, and expresses predicted service levels through the NACp and NIC quality indicators. A web interface shows how these parameters evolve, and the service offers a REST API with JWT-secured communication. In 2018 ENAIRE, Spain's air navigation service provider, selected GMV to supply these services to DOMUS, one of six SESAR projects demonstrating U-space services, where the suite was integrated with ENAIRE's ecosystem manager and tested in real operational environments.
