DATACT is Svarmi's cloud platform for managing drone, satellite and field data on one map. It is aimed at infrastructure owners, drone operators and environmental teams whose imagery, photos and geodata sit scattered across folders and hard drives, are too large to share by file transfer, and usually need GIS specialists to process.
Users upload drone images and DATACT's cloud photogrammetry turns them into georeferenced 2D orthomosaics and 3D models; ground control point processing is offered on the Enterprise plan. Photos, videos and 360° panoramas from drones, phones or cameras are placed on the map from their GPS tags. Satellite layers listed as ESA/Sentinel data are built into the workspace: users switch them on to view recent and historical imagery of any location, combine it with drone and ground data, and track environmental conditions, vegetation or land use between site visits. An Assets module holds footprints, monitoring areas and areas of influence for infrastructure or project sites, and external WMS, WMTS and WFS services such as protected areas or utility networks can be overlaid. Data is shared through team spaces with roles and internal, private or public channels, streamed to other GIS software through WMS links authenticated with an API key, and stored on European servers. DATACT also connects to a DJI Dock 3 drone-in-a-box for automated flights.
Svarmi launched the first version in 2018. Published users include the Icelandic utility RARIK, which documents underground cable-laying with it, engineering consultancy Verkís, which received processed drone data within 12 to 24 hours while mapping lava barriers at Grindavík, Swiss construction firm Eberhard Unternehmungen, for which Svarmi built a forest digital twin for a landfill expansion, carbon-project developer Yggdrasill Carbon, which sets digital baselines and runs five-year carbon-certification monitoring in DATACT, and Fundación Magnolios in Colombia. Plans start at 205 € per month, with a free trial.
