The Corvian Agronomy Program is a fertility and digital-agronomy package for growers with operations of 750 acres or more, sold by Corvian, the enterprise technology brand of Farmers Edge. It addresses the cost of applying fertilizer at blanket rates across fields whose productivity varies from zone to zone.
Each plan is assembled field by field from a set of components: VR Zone Fertility (lab soil testing, satellite zone mapping, and custom seeding and in-season prescription files matched to the grower's equipment), Composite Fertility (flat-rate prescriptions from rotational in-field testing), Rx Only agronomy support, the FarmCommand platform (field mapping, scouting app, crop planner, growth-stage and pest models on web and mobile), Premium Imagery and on-farm weather stations.
Satellite data enters in two places. Productivity zones are identified from lab soil tests combined with satellite, elevation and historical data; FarmCommand's zone tools build zone maps from Sentinel imagery (basic tier) or PlanetScope imagery (premium tier). Premium Imagery supplies 3 m imagery from 150+ satellites, refreshed roughly every two days, for in-season crop monitoring.
Corvian states that it does not sell fertilizer or chemicals and that recommendations come from independent agronomists who support growers through the season. Prescriptions are formatted for common in-cab monitors (John Deere, Case IH/New Holland, Precision Planting, Topcon, Ag Leader, Raven), and FarmCommand can pull field data from John Deere Operations Center, Climate FieldView, Raven Slingshot and AFS Connect. Corvian cites 100M+ acres of field data processed and 36 agtech patents.
