AI-powered timber and forest land scouting using satellite, LiDAR and climate data

LINDA Scout is a SaaS platform that digitises timber and forest land acquisition by delivering precise, parcel-level forest inventories without requiring site visits. It combines satellite imagery (Sentinel-2, high-resolution optical from Planet and Airbus), LiDAR, Digital Elevation Models, climate reanalysis data and harvester records through AI models trained across tens of millions of hectares in the Nordics and Baltics. Users receive wood species and assortment breakdowns, commercial volume splits (sawlogs vs. pulpwood), forest value estimates and real-time inventory data — including for unregistered forests not yet in public cadastral records. The platform supports ad-hoc area selection for on-demand volume estimates and can be integrated with existing Forest Information Systems, ERP and GIS workflows via REST API, replacing expensive and labour-intensive conventional scouting methods for sawmills, forest owners and land investors.
