Bushel Farm Management Software (formerly FarmLogs, then Bushel Farm) is the farmer product of Bushel, an agtech company based in Fargo, North Dakota. It is built for row-crop farmers who otherwise keep field records, grain contracts and cost data in spreadsheets and by manual entry, and it brings field maps, activity records, rainfall, satellite imagery, grain marketing and profit-and-loss reporting into one web and mobile app.
On the Essentials plan, Bushel Farm supplies multispectral satellite imagery for each field year round at 10 m resolution; the product screens label it as Sentinel-2 imagery and show the estimated cloud cover of each image. Bushel processes the clearest image available for a field, and its help centre says a new image typically arrives every 5 to 10 days. Images are shown in true colour and as an NDVI vegetation index, with a Vegetation mode for comparing dates and a Max Variability mode that emphasises differences within a single image, so farmers can spot in-season problems and decide where to scout. Rainfall totals and history come from a NOAA radar and gauge dataset and cover the continental United States only.
Field boundaries and machine activities can be imported from John Deere Operations Center and Climate FieldView, and grain contracts flow in automatically from more than 3,500 grain and ag retail facilities on the Bushel Network. Plans are subscriptions, sold on the web and in the mobile apps and billed annually on the web: Rainfall ($75/yr), Lite ($199/yr) and Essentials ($599/yr, the plan that includes satellite imagery); farms over 20,000 acres are priced on request, and every new account starts with a 30-day free trial of all features. Bushel states that it is audited against SOC 2 Type II.
