Aware Intel Hub is Intterra's common operating platform for fire, EMS, law enforcement and emergency-management agencies in the United States. Agencies handling fast-moving incidents often work from fragmented, siloed systems; the platform brings data from computer-aided dispatch (CAD), records management (RMS), automatic vehicle location (AVL), cameras and other operational systems into one map-based environment for situational awareness, planning and response. In April 2025 Intterra announced it was rebuilding its platform from the ground up. Its Intel Hub user guide says Intel Hub currently covers incident management and public-information workflows and is designed to expand into a full common operating platform, while the established Intterra Maps web app carries the operational map tools.
In the Maps web app, agencies can display national hazard layers including MODIS/VIIRS satellite fire detections (from USFS RSAC, refreshed about every 30 minutes), IgPoint spaceborne thermal and cloud-cover data and National Fireguard heat detections. An optional IR Satellite Alerts service clusters time- and space-coincident infrared detections into IR Events, matches them with WildCAD initial-attack reports (Emerging Fires) and established ICS-209 fires (Extended Attack Fires), scores each event's severity, and emails summary and new-event alerts for the nation or selected GACC regions. Satellite and airborne remote-sensing products, including satellite infrared images, can be brought in through the Airborne/Satellite Intel tool.
The platform exchanges data with Esri ArcGIS, ingests CAD and RMS data through the Intterra Data Center API, and feeds public apps such as AwareCA, which CAL FIRE selected as California's statewide public safety information app. Intterra states the platform is designed for CJIS, HIPAA and FedRAMP Moderate compliance. Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue reports that its crews and battalion chiefs use Intterra every day as a response aid and common operating picture.

Intterra
Intterra builds software for public safety agencies. Its Aware platform helps agencies aggregate, manage and distribute authoritative information to improve decision-making, operational coordination and public communication during emergencies and large incidents. The platform comprises Aware Intel Hub, a common operating platform that unifies agency data into decision support, and community apps such as AwareCA, California's state-level deployment selected by CAL FIRE.
