Pipeline and infrastructure operators usually patrol their rights-of-way (ROW) by fixed-wing aircraft or truck, leaving long gaps between passes in which encroachments, ground movement or leaks can go unnoticed. Orbital Advisors' Asset Integrity Report closes that gap with satellite monitoring: the company states that satellites revisit a customer's assets every 2–3 days, 10–20 times more often than aerial patrol alone.
Each satellite pass yields three deliverables. The Asset Integrity Report flags surface change across the ROW, including ground movement, encroachments such as digging without a valid One-Call ticket, and environmental hazards, each with precise coordinates. The Product Detection Scan applies satellite-based spectral analysis to the pipeline corridor to find natural gas, crude oil and refined-product anomalies. The Compliance Baseline is a timestamped data package formatted for PHMSA reporting that documents monitoring frequency above minimum requirements. The company also describes weekly all-weather monitoring for construction and erosion, and nightly coverage to detect fires.
Detection results are delivered directly into ArcGIS and other platforms, so they enter operators' existing workflows; Orbital Advisors joined the Esri Partner Network in September 2026. Prospective customers can request a first satellite pass over their pipeline or infrastructure with no commitment and receive the report, anomaly detection, surface change data and product detection results within 1–3 days. The service is aimed at pipeline, energy and mining operators.

Orbital Advisors
Orbital Advisors works with energy, mining and agriculture companies to turn satellite data into everyday decision-making tools. Its satellite monitoring revisits pipelines and other infrastructure every 2–3 days to flag surface change, encroachments, ground movement and environmental hazards, and uses spectral analysis to detect natural gas, crude and refined product leaks. Results come as a custom Asset Integrity Report with a PHMSA-formatted compliance data package, delivered through ArcGIS and other platforms.
