AI Model Training is AllSource Analysis's training-data offering for teams building AI models that detect objects in satellite imagery. AllSource states that high-quality training data is essential for AI automation to rapidly identify and track vessels, aircraft and vehicles in support of near-real-time decision-making, and that creating such data is a bottleneck.

The datasets are produced by AllSource's experienced imagery analysts, who identify and classify objects in georeferenced satellite imagery; their expert identifications and classifications are combined with automation. Buyers receive verified training data as imagery-label pairs. Three dataset families are offered: Vessel, Aircraft, and Ground Equipment Detection and Classification Datasets. The published samples show labelled bounding polygons with attribute tables recording, among other fields, location, country, category and model (for example an Su-34 fighter aircraft or an S-400 surface-to-air missile system), specified and measured length and width, heading, image ID, satellite and sensor (WorldView-3 VNIR in the aircraft and ground-equipment samples), off-nadir angle, collection date, sun azimuth and elevation, occlusion, status and an analyst confidence level.
