AgriGeo is e-GEOS's geoinformation platform for agriculture and forestry. It addresses the need to monitor and assess crop status continuously, at scales ranging from single parcels to the volume of checks that EU Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) subsidy controls require.
The platform combines multisource, multitemporal satellite data from optical and SAR (X, C and L band) observations, including COSMO-SkyMed and Sentinel SAR data, with weather data and end-user datasets. Cloud-based processing, big-data workflows and artificial intelligence generate indices, indicators, near real-time reports and dynamic analytics. Its service lines cover:
The companion Agrigeo App, first implemented in 2017, lets surveyors and farmers capture validated, geo-tagged field photos using augmented reality, record GNSS tracks, work online or offline, and protect evidence against manipulation. Services are delivered through web and mobile access, with tailored services available. Target users are farmers, insurance and fintech companies, food industries and institutions.
