New European Bauhaus Facility 2026
About this call
The New European Bauhaus (NEB) Facility 2026 is a Horizon Europe work programme dedicated to scaling NEB approaches — sustainable, inclusive, beautiful built environments — across neighbourhoods, cities and regions. Eight city-applicable topics open 5 May 2026 and close 1 December 2026, across three sub-strands: REGEN (thermal comfort, sustainable maintenance, vertical-space use), PARTICIPATION (homelessness housing-led, neighbourhood spatial design, inhabitant health) and BUSINESS (homelessness social infrastructure, reuse of vacant spaces). One additional topic (BUSINESS-02 — capital market dynamics for NEB investment) is financial-services research and excluded from this iteration. Total budget across the 9 NEB-2026-01 topics is approximately €101 million. Managed by REA.
