Decision-makers, planners and scientists need authoritative land information for Europe and the wider globe but often lack a single, easy way to visualise and download consistent satellite-derived products. The Copernicus Land Data Viewer addresses this by providing a web-based map viewer and data access portal that exposes standardised land products (land cover, vegetation indices, time series and thematic layers) derived from the Copernicus Sentinel constellation and other EO sources. The portal supports 2D and 3D visualisation, a searchable dataset catalogue, product documentation and download workflows, backed by helpdesk and how-to guidance.

Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS)
The Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS) is one of the six thematic services of the EU's Copernicus programme, jointly implemented by the European Environment Agency, which coordinates the European component, and the European Commission's DG Joint Research Centre, which coordinates the global component. It provides geographical information on land cover and land use and their changes, ground motion, vegetation state, the water cycle and earth-surface energy variables for Europe and the entire globe. All products are free of charge and can be used for any purpose, and are accessed through a dataset catalogue, an interactive 2D/3D data viewer, a download API and technical documentation.
