The CIF Dashboard is an ESA-funded, cloud-based decision-support platform developed by the Polar View consortium (including EOX, NRC Canada, C-CORE, and the Danish Meteorological Institute) that transforms satellite-derived geospatial data into actionable intelligence for three marine sectors operating in the Arctic and North Atlantic.
Key capabilities:
CIF is distinctive for its ESA-backed Green Transition Information Factory (GTIF) provenance, its focus on connecting the Blue and Green Economies, and its co-development approach with end users across industry, government, and civil society. The platform is targeted for full completion in spring 2026.

Cerulean Information Factory (CIF)
The Cerulean Information Factory (CIF) is a demonstration project funded by the European Space Agency (ESA), part of ESA's Green Transition Information Factories (GTIF) initiative, that develops tools to help marine industries transition to a more sustainable future. CIF uses Earth Observation data, geospatial and digital platform technologies, and advanced analytics to generate actionable knowledge and decision support for climate change impact reduction and adaptation. Its demonstration focuses on the North Atlantic and Arctic seas between Canada and Europe, with examples for Arctic shipping, offshore wind energy and aquaculture.
