Copernicus Browser

Copernicus Browser is a free, open-access web application developed by Sinergise within the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem. It enables users to search, visualise, compare, analyse and download satellite imagery from the Copernicus Sentinel missions (Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2, Sentinel-3, Sentinel-5P) as well as complementary datasets such as Landsat and Copernicus Digital Elevation Models. Search filters cover geographic region, time range, cloud-cover threshold, orbit direction and acquisition mode. Visualisation capabilities include true-colour and false-colour composites, spectral indices (e.g. NDVI), side-by-side split/opacity comparison, and a 3D terrain view with adjustable shadows and vertical scaling. Analytical tools include time-series charting, spectral signature exploration, image statistics, timelapse animation creation, and distance/area measurement. Users can save and share visualisations as pins (importable/exportable as JSON) or via direct URLs. The application requires only a free account and runs entirely in a web browser with no software installation. Its source code is publicly available on GitHub under the MIT License.
