Question 1

What is Spacegraph?

Accepted Answer

Spacegraph is a discovery platform for space-enabled solutions: products and services that turn satellite data into something useful on the ground, like crop monitoring, flood-risk maps, or asset tracking. Three parts work together. The AI Compass answers your questions and points you to relevant options. The Marketplace is a structured catalogue of solutions you can search and compare. And our Market Intelligence covers the trends and funding behind the sector. You don't need to be a space expert. Describe the problem you're trying to solve, and Spacegraph helps you find the technology that fits.

Question 2

Who is Spacegraph for?

Accepted Answer

There are two groups, mainly. If you're on the buying side, a city or region, a public agency, or a company in a field like agriculture, energy, construction, or insurance, Spacegraph helps you work out where satellite data could help and which solutions are worth a closer look. If you build space-enabled products, Spacegraph is where the organisations that need them come to search. You can list your solutions and reach those buyers directly. Either way, no space background is required.

Question 3

How is Spacegraph different from a satellite-data company?

Accepted Answer

A data company sells imagery or measurements. Spacegraph sits a level above that. We help you find solutions: the finished products that take satellite data and turn it into an answer for a specific job, like spotting illegal dumping or estimating building subsidence. We're also independent. We aren't tied to one supplier or data source, so you can compare options from many providers and pick what actually fits your need.

Question 4

What is the AI Compass?

Accepted Answer

The AI Compass is the assistant at the centre of Spacegraph. Ask it something in plain language, like "how can satellite data help us cut water loss?", and it searches the catalogue and our knowledge base and comes back with options that fit. Its answers are grounded in real Spacegraph content, the solutions, reports, and expert notes we maintain, so it points you to things you can open and read rather than making things up. The AI Compass needs a free account.

Question 5

What can I ask the AI Compass?

Accepted Answer

Some good things to ask: Discovery: "What solutions exist for monitoring air quality in a city?" Fit: "Which of these suits a small town on a tight budget?" Comparison: "How do these two differ on data sources and maturity?" Context: "What's happening in Earth-observation analytics for farming?" Funding: "Are there EU programmes that could help pay for this?" The more you tell it about your goal, your sector, and your constraints, the sharper the answer.

Question 6

Does the AI Compass decide for me?

Accepted Answer

The AI Compass is there to support your decision, not to make it. It surfaces options, explains why they might fit, and links you to the underlying solutions and evidence so you can judge for yourself. It saves you research time and widens the set of options you look at. The choice, the procurement, and the due diligence are still yours.

Question 7

What languages does Spacegraph support?

Accepted Answer

You can use Spacegraph in English, German, French, Italian, or Spanish, and switch language whenever you like. The interface and most content, including this FAQ, solution listings, and market intelligence, are available in all five. The AI Compass understands and replies in these languages too. Where a translation isn't ready yet, you'll see the English version instead.

Question 8

What is the Marketplace?

Accepted Answer

The Marketplace is Spacegraph's catalogue of space-enabled products and services. Every solution is described the same way, what it does, the satellite data it uses, the industries and use cases it covers, how mature it is, and how it's delivered, so you can compare like with like. Without an account you can see a small preview of the catalogue. To search everything, apply filters, and compare options side by side, you'll need a free account.

Question 9

How are solutions organised and matched to my needs?

Accepted Answer

Every solution is tagged against a shared structure: The industries it serves, such as agriculture, energy, construction, or insurance. The use cases it covers, like crop monitoring or flood-risk assessment. The space data behind it: Earth observation, satellite positioning (GNSS), satellite communications, or radar. How proven and ready-to-use it is. That structure is what lets both the filters and the AI Compass match what you describe to the right solutions, instead of guessing from keywords.

Question 10

How do I compare and shortlist solutions?

Accepted Answer

Once you're signed in, narrow the catalogue with filters for industry, use case, space-data type, and more. Open any solution for the full profile, build a shortlist, and compare options side by side on the things you care about: data sources, capabilities, maturity, and how it's delivered. If you'd rather not start from filters, just tell the AI Compass what you're weighing up and it can put a comparison together for you.

Question 11

How do I list my solution?

Accepted Answer

If you build a space-enabled product, you can add it to Spacegraph: Create an account and set up your organisation as a provider. Add your solution: what it does, the satellite data it uses, the industries and use cases it serves, and the supporting detail. Submit it for review. Once it's approved, it appears in the catalogue. If you've got several solutions to add, or you'd like a hand getting started, reach us through the contact page.

Question 12

What makes a strong listing?

Accepted Answer

Listings that get found, and get enquiries, tend to do a few things well: Name the problem. What real challenge does the product solve, and for whom? Be clear about the space data. Say which satellite data or infrastructure it relies on, for example Sentinel-2 imagery or GNSS positioning. Tag the right industries and use cases so the filters and the AI Compass can surface you. Show how ready it is, and how customers use it: an API, a dashboard, a report. Write for buyers, not for space engineers. Most of the people reading aren't specialists.

Question 13

How does the review process work?

Accepted Answer

We review each submission before it goes live. The check confirms that a listing is accurate, clearly written, and genuinely space-enabled, meaning it actually uses satellite data or infrastructure rather than just mentioning "space" in its marketing. Reviewers may suggest edits to sharpen the wording or the tagging. Once it's approved, your solution shows up in the Marketplace and can be found by buyers and by the AI Compass.

Question 14

How do enquiries reach me?

Accepted Answer

When a buyer decides your solution is worth a conversation, they get in touch through your listing. You keep your organisation profile and solutions up to date from your provider account. An accurate, current listing is the best way to attract enquiries that are a genuine fit. The clearer the match, the more useful the conversations.

Question 15

Where does the information come from?

Accepted Answer

A few sources feed Spacegraph: Solution listings, written or reviewed together with the providers who build the products. Curated research and knowledge that we maintain to explain concepts, sectors, and how things fit together. Market intelligence: trends, funding signals, and analysis. It's all organised against the same structure, so you can search, filter, and compare it consistently. Solutions are curated rather than scraped at random, which is what keeps the quality up.

Question 16

How current is the information?

Accepted Answer

Solution listings are maintained with the providers who own them, and our knowledge and market-intelligence content is updated as new analysis becomes available. This is a living catalogue, so you may occasionally hit an area we're still building out. If something looks out of date or missing, tell us through the contact page. That feedback goes straight into improving it.

Question 17

How does Spacegraph decide what's relevant to me?

Accepted Answer

When you search or ask the AI Compass, Spacegraph works from the meaning of your request, not just the words in it, and matches that against the structure behind every solution and report. That's why a plain description of your problem can surface the right solutions even when they don't use your exact wording. The more context you give, your sector, your goal, your constraints, the better the results.

Question 18

Is my data GDPR-compliant, and where is it stored?

Accepted Answer

Spacegraph is built with GDPR in mind. Personal and organisational data is hosted in the European Union, and we follow data-protection-by-design principles. You can read exactly how data is handled in our Privacy Policy, and you have the rights GDPR gives you, including access, correction, and deletion.

Question 19

Do you use my conversations to train AI models?

Accepted Answer

Your chats with the AI Compass are used to provide the service and improve how it works for you. We don't sell them or make them public. For the exact detail on what's processed and why, including any third-party AI processing and the choices you have, see the Privacy Policy. If you have a specific question, get in touch.

Question 20

Who can see my organisation's activity?

Accepted Answer

Access on Spacegraph depends on your role. People in your organisation see what their role allows, and your private activity, like your AI Compass conversations and shortlists, isn't shown to other organisations. Providers control their own public listings. A buyer's research stays private to them. The Privacy Policy has the full detail.

Question 21

How do I delete my data?

Accepted Answer

You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data tied to it, as part of your GDPR rights. The option is in your account settings, and you can also reach us through the contact page. We handle erasure requests as described in the Privacy Policy.

Question 22

Is Spacegraph free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can create a free account, and that's what really opens Spacegraph up. Without one you'll only see a small preview of the Marketplace. With a free account you can search the full catalogue, use the AI Compass, save and shortlist solutions, and read the market intelligence. Signing up takes about a minute, so the quickest way to see what's here is to create an account and start exploring.

Question 23

What can I do without an account, and what needs one?

Accepted Answer

Without signing in, you can get a feel for Spacegraph: a sample of Marketplace solutions, plus the public pages. To actually use it, the full searchable catalogue, filters, side-by-side comparison, the AI Compass, saved shortlists, and the market intelligence, you'll want a free account. Providers also use an account to create and manage their listings. Accounts support secure sign-in to keep your organisation's data protected.

Question 24

How do I create an account and get started?

Accepted Answer

It takes about a minute: Sign up with your email and a secure sign-in method. Tell us a bit about your focus, your sector and what you're trying to do, so results are more relevant. Start exploring the Marketplace, or ask the AI Compass your first question. You can adjust your profile and preferences any time in settings.

Question 25

What's the fastest way to get value?

Accepted Answer

Sign up for a free account, then ask the AI Compass one concrete question about something you're actually dealing with, for example "how could satellite data help us monitor coastal erosion?" From its answer you can jump straight into relevant solutions, compare a shortlist, and read the supporting market intelligence. Specific, real questions get the most useful results.

Question 26

Do I need space or technical expertise?

Accepted Answer

No. Spacegraph is made for people who aren't space-technology experts. You describe your problem in everyday language, and the platform handles the translation into the right satellite data, solutions, and providers. The structure behind the catalogue, the AI Compass, and the curated knowledge are all there to bridge the gap between a real need and the space technology that can meet it.
