Ithaca addresses the challenge faced by planners and environmental managers who need accurate, up-to-date spatial information about landscapes but lack the capacity to acquire, process and interpret large volumes of satellite data. Their core offering, Remote Sensing Services, ingests satellite imagery and remote-sensing datasets from satellite, aerial, and drone platforms and turns them into actionable products for mapping, landscape planning and environmental reporting — using AI, machine learning, and geospatial modelling.

Key capabilities:

• Change Detection: Multitemporal analysis and land cover change workflows to identify and quantify landscape transformation (e.g. urbanisation, deforestation).
• High-resolution Cartography: Production of orthophotos, vector maps and thematic layers for planning and cadastral use.
• Vegetation & Surface Analysis: Multispectral indices (NDVI, NDSI) and classification for vegetation health, land use and habitat mapping.
• Emergency & Rapid Mapping: Disaster-response mapping (fires, floods, landslides) delivered within hours as part of the EU Copernicus Rapid Mapping Service (800+ activations, 24/7 operations).
• Integrated Data Products: Fusion of remote-sensing with in-situ data to produce contextualised maps and actionable reports.
• Custom Geospatial Services: Bespoke geoproduct development and consultancy to fit municipal, utility, or environmental workflows.

Outputs integrate with GIS platforms and geospatial modelling environments.
