LOCATE SOLAR

LOCATE SOLAR is a UK-wide rooftop solar suitability database built from LiDAR, aerial imagery and Ordnance Survey building footprints, processed through machine learning to deliver over 35 solar-centric attributes for 29 million+ properties. It automates the manual effort of rooftop assessment by extracting roof geometry, pitch, orientation, shading and usable area, then calculating solar irradiation, estimated power output, installation costs, payback period and CO₂ savings at building level.
