FLOODCAST

FloodCast is an advanced, API-accessible flood simulation engine that delivers high-speed, high-resolution flood modelling at all scales. Launched in September 2025, it produces near real-time outputs reported to be up to 1,500× faster than traditional models, covering fluvial, pluvial, coastal and dam-break flood events.

The platform fuses satellite, aerial and drone imagery with hydrological and terrain models — incorporating rainfall, flood-defence networks and discharge points — to output flood extent, depth and velocity maps, as well as damage predictions and post-event inundation assessments.
