CoastEye addresses the challenge of combining sparse in‑situ measurements with broad‑area satellite observations so ports, offshore wind developers and coastal engineers can make timely, evidence‑based decisions. The platform ingests data from TechWorks' deployed buoys and data acquisition systems and augments these with satellite Earth Observation (notably Sentinel‑1 SAR, Sentinel‑2 and Sentinel‑3) to provide continuous situational awareness across marine project areas. Analysts and engineers use CoastEye for site assessment, environmental monitoring and operational support without needing to manually reconcile multiple data streams.

CoastEye is distinctive because it operationalises combined satellite and sensor workflows for marine clients — backed by TechWorks' operational buoy deployments, metocean expertise and Earth Observation data science capability — and was developed under ESA's InCubed commercialisation programme.
