Automated spectral classification of satellite imagery without training samples

color33 is an automated, cloud-based processing service that converts reflectance values of multispectral satellite imagery into actionable spectral categories without requiring training samples or EO expertise. The service is parameter-free and application-independent, producing a known set of spectral categories with established semantic associations based on a physical model rather than machine learning. The platform processes Copernicus Sentinel-2 imagery in near real-time and provides capabilities including automated spectral classification, bi-temporal change detection, temporal occurrence calculation, and reflectance validation for calibration workflows. Outputs serve as a foundation for downstream applications in land cover mapping, vegetation analysis, surface water investigation, and environmental monitoring, accessible through a web frontend and API.
