Monthly cloud-free global satellite mosaics with AI analytics for Earth observation and change detection

Nimbo is a cloud service by Kermap that delivers monthly, cloud-free global satellite mosaics at 10 m/px resolution, sourced from the EU Copernicus Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 satellites and processed with proprietary deep-learning techniques for cloud removal and colour harmonisation. Four data layers are available — Natural Colour (RGB), Infrared (NIR), NDVI, and Radar (SAR) — enabling time-series monitoring, vegetation analysis, and change detection workflows. Users access the platform via a free web viewer at maps.nimbo.earth, a dedicated QGIS plugin, or programmatic integration using standard OGC protocols (TMS, WMS, WMTS) with an API token, making it compatible with QGIS, ArcGIS, MapLibre, Leaflet, and OpenLayers. With over 200 monthly basemaps produced since October 2019 and worldwide coverage from February 2023, Nimbo supports GIS professionals, data engineers, and machine-learning practitioners across agriculture, land management, urban planning, and environmental monitoring.
