Kanop's AI geospatial platform ingests and analyses satellite imagery (Sentinel-1/2, Landsat-8/9, PALSAR-2) to deliver continuous Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) for nature-based projects and nature-positive supply chains. The platform combines optical and radar satellite data with deep-learning models — trained on 125 million hectares of LiDAR data across 76 countries — to produce auditable, science-based reports on carbon stock changes, biomass, canopy height, land-use change, deforestation, and biodiversity impact, with 95% confidence intervals.

AI agents automate complex environmental assessments through natural-language chat interactions, auto-select methodologies (Verra VM0047/VM0048, Gold Standard, SBTi FLAG, TNFD, CSRD), and generate eligibility assessments and PDF reports in hours rather than weeks. Dynamic baselining adjusts references to evolving environmental conditions, and temporal change detection spans 10+ years of satellite archives. Outputs are delivered through an online Environmental Intelligence Dashboard and a REST API for integration into certification and reporting workflows. Supported project types include reforestation (ARR), avoided deforestation (REDD+), improved forest management, blue carbon, agroforestry, and grassland restoration.
