LOCATE EV addresses the challenge of planning EV chargepoint networks in complex urban and suburban UK environments by combining high-resolution imagery, building footprints and transport layers with analytics tuned for chargepoint demand and feasibility. The platform ingests optical and commercial satellite imagery plus contextual datasets to score locations, identify suitable kerb and parking areas, and model catchments for demand and grid access. It is fully web-based with no third-party software required, delivering instant on-screen results and digitalising the most labour-intensive elements of site survey and verification. LOCATE EV supports funding applications for the ORCS and LEVI programmes. Geospatial Insight positions LOCATE EV as a UK-focused SaaS serving local authorities, charge point operators, network operators and private sector clients.
