FireWatch is a wildfire prediction, detection and monitoring platform from Geospatial Insight that fuses multi-source satellite data with weather forecasts and environmental intelligence to deliver near-real-time situational awareness across North America, Australia, Southern Europe and the UK.
The platform ingests thermal hotspot data from MODIS, VIIRS and other EO satellites (refreshed up to four times daily) and combines it with high-resolution weather models, soil moisture datasets and historical wildfire records to produce fire perimeter maps, spread predictions and risk quantification for property and infrastructure.
